Add Federated Search Source lets you choose the type of search source that you want to create. SirsiDynix Enterprise supports Z39.50, 360 Search, Muse (Single Search), and Reserve as sources.

The Reserve source type allows libraries using Symphony with Web Services to include academic reserves materials in the item search. When added, an Academic Reserves category is added to the drop-down list on the Search bar.

Source Type

Specifies the type of search source that you want to add. You can add Z39.50, 360 Search, Muse (Single Search), or Reserve search types.
