Manage Scheduled Tasks is a menu that lets you select the task group that you want to view.

Manage System Tasks

Opens the System Tasks list. System tasks schedule extracting or indexing content from within the SirsiDynix Enterprise system, such as rooms content or search suggestions. These tasks are part of the system and cannot be added to or deleted from by adding or deleting data sources.

Manage eResource Central Search Source Tasks

Opens the eResource Central Tasks list. eResource Central tasks are used by the system to process electronic resources. Unlike the other tasks, eResource Central pushes items into SirsiDynix Enterprise. That means you should never need to run any of these task unless directed by SirsiDynix Customer Support. This page lets you verify that the tasks have run correctly. If any of the eResource Central tasks report an error, contact SirsiDynix Customer Support.

Manage Search Source Tasks

Opens the Search Source Tasks list. Search Source tasks control data source jobs such as extracting, importing, and indexing items from different data sources. These tasks are created, scheduled, and deleted from the Manage Discovery Search Sources list. (For more information, see Adding or editing a Discovery search source .)
