Stopping a running task

You can stop any task that is running. The next time the you or SirsiDynix Enterprise runs the task, it starts from the beginning of the task, not the point where it was when the task was interrupted.

Only administrators with accounts that include the PRIV_TASK_MANAGE privilege can access, schedule, and launch tasks.

To stop a running task

Choose Manage Scheduled Tasks from the navigation pane.

Choose Manage System Tasks or Manage Search Data Source Tasks.

Choose the Interrupt Task option next to the task you want to stop.

The Interrupt Task icon changes to the Run Task icon.
