Only administrators with accounts that include the PRIV_TASK_MANAGE privilege can access, schedule, and launch tasks.
If a task has been scheduled to run at a specific time repeatedly or for a determined interval, it will continue on that schedule until the task is rescheduled or the schedule is suspended. A schedule that is suspended can be resumed to continue on the previously set schedule.

To suspend and resume a task’s schedule
| 1 | Log in to the Admin console. |
| 2 | Choose Manage Scheduled Tasks from the navigation pane. |
| 3 | Choose Manage System Tasks or Manage Search Data Source Tasks. |
| 4 | Choose the Suspend Task option next to the task for which you want to stop the scheduled trigger. |
| 5 | To resume running the schedule, choose the Resume Task option next to the task you want to run on the scheduled intervals. |
