You cannot delete a web service that is currently defined for use by an authentication server or is selected as part of a search site. For details, see Deleting an authentication server definition or Deleting a Discovery source site .
If you attempt to delete a web service that is being used, an error message will appear.
If you delete a web service that is being used by a custom book list, the book river widget may appear on the page with no content. You should remove it from the list in any room where it was selected.
