Manage Web Services lets you set up connections to the Symphony web calls that allow SirsiDynix Enterprise to exchange information with Symphony. After you define a Web Service in Manage Web Services, you can select it as an authorization service in Manage Security or as a real-time service for a search site.

Web Services list

Lists the Web Service connections that have been assigned for your system. The list includes these columns:

Option	Description
Name	Displays the name of the web service.
Code	Displays the code for the web service.
URL	Displays the Universal Resource Locator where the web service is located.

Management options

Let you manage web service definitions by adding, editing, or deleting them.

You can choose these options:

Option	Description
Add Web Service	Lets you create a new web service. (For details, see Adding or editing a web service definition.)
Edit	Lets you change the definition for a specific web service. (For details, see Adding or editing a web service definition.)
Delete	Lets you remove the web service definition from the list. (For details, see Deleting a web service.)
