Web Services provides a way for SirsiDynix Enterprise to quickly and easily connect to a Symphony or Horizon ILS to share information. The web services can be used in SirsiDynix Enterprise to provide authentication services and the ability to limit by availability. You can set up web service definitions to several ILS instances.
SirsiDynix Enterprise currently fully supports only the Symphony Web Services. It offers limited support for the Horizon Web Services.
The following matrix lists the SirsiDynix Enterprise features supported by the Symphony and Horizon systems with and without web services.
