Roles are groups of privileges that can be assigned to any number of administrative users. A privilege is a right to access a specific feature or group of features in SirsiDynix Enterprise. The group of privileges assigned to a role determines the purpose of the role. For example, a system administrator would typically have a role that includes all of the individual privileges.
Manage Roles lets you create the roles according to the administrative needs of your library. You can create as many roles as you need and assign them to as many users as you need. However, you can only assign one role per user. Manage Accounts lets you assign the roles to administrative user.
