Setting up the CoolIris view for search results

SirsiDynix Portfolio delivers 5 pre-defined CoolIris themes that you can choose from to use for the CoolIris view on a profile's search results page:

• Minimalist Light
• Minimalist Dark
• Spectrum
• Slate
• Radiance

You also have the option of using CoolIris Flash variables (FlashVars) to create your own custom CoolIris theme.

To select a CoolIris theme

1 From the Admin console, choose Manage Profiles.
2 For the profile you want to work with, choose Edit Profile.
3 In the "Search Options" section, select the theme you want to use from the CoolIris Theme field.

Note: If you want to apply custom CoolIris FlashVars to a theme other than "Custom" (or in other words, make customizations to one of the delivered themes), you can do that. For instructions, see Fields: Add/Edit/Copy Profile.

4 Save your changes.

To create a custom CoolIris theme

1 From the Admin console, choose Manage Profiles.
2 For the profile you want to work with, choose Edit Profile.
3 In the "Search Options" section, select Custom from the CoolIris Theme field.
4 In the Custom CoolIris FlashVars field, enter the FlashVars you want to use to create your custom CoolIris theme (for details, see Fields: Add/Edit/Copy Profile).
5 Save your changes.
