If holds are not enabled in Symphony, they cannot be enabled through SirsiDynix Portfolio .
You can enable or disable library users' ability to place items on hold. The Place Hold action is available in the results list, detail display, and My Lists.
If holds are not enabled in Symphony, they cannot be enabled through SirsiDynix Portfolio .
To enable patron holds
| 1 | Log in to the Admin console. |
| 2 | Choose Manage Profiles from the navigation pane. |
| 3 | Find the search profile for which you want to enable holds, then choose Edit. |
| 4 | In the Patron Options group, make sure the Enable Holds option is selected. |
| 5 | Choose OK. |
