The content of detached rooms can be searched and appear in search results. The results are similar to normal room, except that the path to the room is not displayed. When a patron opens the results to view the content of the detached room, SirsiDynix Portfolio displays the content in the main content area of the room where the search was initiated. SirsiDynix Portfolio does not display the content from each of the content areas of the detached room, only the content from the area where the match for the search was found. The taxonomy remains and displays the path to the room where the search was initiated. If the patron navigates away from the room and returns through the taxonomy, the detached room results are replaced by the initial room’s content.
