Use the Add Media Type option on the Manage Media Types page to create a media type.
To add a media type
| 1 | Log in to the Admin console. |
| 2 | Choose Manage Assets from the navigation pane. |
| 3 | Choose Configure Asset Management. |
The Configure Asset Management page displays a menu of options.
| 4 | Choose Manage Media Types. |
The Manage Media Types page displays and lists the media types that have already been defined for digital assets. (For information about the media types list, see Fields: Manage Media Types.)
| 5 | Choose Add Media Type. |
The Add Media Type page displays.
| 6 | Complete the fields, as needed for the media type you want to define. (For descriptions of each field on the Add Media Type page, see Fields: Add/Edit Media Type.) |
| 7 | Choose OK to create the media type and to return to the Manage Media Types page. |
| 8 | Repeat steps 5 through 7 for each media type you want to create. |
