The Add Metadata Template option on the Manage Metadata Templates page allows you to create a metadata template that can be selected on the Add Asset page when users add digital assets to the hierarchy.
To create a metadata template to be used when adding an asset
| 1 | Log in to the Admin console. |
| 2 | Choose Manage Assets from the navigation pane. |
The Manage Assets page displays.
| 3 | Choose Configure Asset Management. |
The Configure Asset Management page displays a menu of options. (For descriptions of the options, see Fields: Configure Asset Management.)
| 4 | Choose Manage Metadata Templates. |
The Manage Metadata Template page displays. (For descriptions of the fields on this page, see Fields: Manage Metadata Templates.)
| 5 | Choose Add Metadata Template. |
The Add Metadata Template page displays.
| 6 | Complete the fields as needed to create the metadata template. (For more information, see Fields: Add/Edit/Copy Metadata Template.) |
| 7 | Choose OK to save the metadata template and return to the Manage Metadata Templates page. |
