Mapping of Dublin Core metadata fields to search fields

The metadata fields map to search fields in SirsiDynix Portfolio to provide the ability for patrons to search for assets using metadata keywords. In addition, these fields can also be used as facets for narrowing a search to a specific type of metadata.

The following table shows each Dublin Core metadata field, the search field to which it maps, the name of the search field that patrons use to search for assets, and whether the search field can be used as a facet.
