To add a new character mapping
| 1 | Choose Manage Search Configuration from the navigation pane. |
| 2 | Choose Manage Character Mapping. |
| 3 | Complete the fields, as necessary. (For details, see Fields: Manage Character Mapping .) |
| 4 | Choose OK. |
| 5 | In order for changes to character mappings to take effect (that is, influence how search results are returned), you must re-index your data and then click Refresh Cache. |
