This library is specifically stores books about Islam (Malay, English and Arabic). Besides that other materials such as journals, magazines, newspapers, newsletters are available in this library. It also provides newspaper cuttings and paperworks. These collections are catalogued and classified with subject headings based on the specified sections as follows:

 

General Collection

This collection consisting of books on Islam which were published by other countries, and available in Malay, English and Arabic.

 

Islamic Dakwah Center Publishing Collection 

This collection consisting of materials published by the Islamic Da’wah Center.

 

Brunei Reference Collection
This collection consisting of books published in Brunei, and most of them   are about Brunei. The duration and place of publication are not limited.

 

Reference Collection

This collection consisting of dictionaries, encyclopedias and terminologies.

 

Theses Collection

This collection consisting of theses of the personnels of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, and students from various universities inside and outside the country, who conducted research on Islam. This collection can only be used in the library by soliciting help from Library Officers, but are not allowed to be photocopied.

 

Serial  Publications Collection

This collection contains periodicals publications, such as magazine materials, newsletters, journals, seminar paperwors, conferences, and courses, program books and so on.

 

Newspaper Cutting Collection

The collection of articles related to Islamic Religious, Islamic  Dakwah Center, Ministry of Religious Affairs, taken from local and foreign newspapers.

 

Rare Collection

This collection contains of old materials (published before 1950). The materials are in the form of books.
